Afro-Mystik is back on the scene with this fantastic new single entitled 'Miracles.' First up is the remix from Mallorca's Kiko Navarro, who has released a slew of original and remix material on such notable labels as Nite Grooves, Underground Collective, Defected, Seamless, Swank and Estereo. One for the deep-house lovers, Kiko's monster of a mix consists of complex, afro drum programming & percussion, a dirty synth bassline, moody synth stabs and pads, arpeggiated keys, and Omega's full-vocal. Absolutely gorgeous. Flip over for the DJ Fluid Dub, which takes the track into deep tribal waters. Fluid adds the drum/percussion parts one by one, cuts up the vocal bits and throws them through some nice effects patches, slowly, slowly building the track to a critical mass.. then he breaks it down and introduces a slamming synth bass line, which carries the second-half of the track. Very tough, yet very ethereal. Finally we have the original version: Koki Dapp-Ah. continuing in the Afro-Mystik tradition of afro-heavy house music. OM.
