Prompted by the success of the hugely popular cable series VH1 Storytellers, Interscope Records highlights selected songs from such legendary artists as David Bowie ("China Girl"), The Bee Gees ("How Deep Is Your Love") and James Taylor ("Mexico"). The 15 songs on VH1 STORYTELLERS are all vibrant performances.
Though each song has its own story, tone, and feel, the seamless mix and wonderful performances from Dave Matthews Band ("Crash Into Me"), Jewel ("Who Will Save Your Soul"), and John Mellencamp ("Jack & Diane") transfix the listener from the start. Sheryl Crow's version of "Strong Enough" features Stevie Nicks, while Nicks herself performs a killer version of "Edge of Seventeen."
