2003 Latin Grammy nominee for Producer Of The Year (Gustavo Santaolalla). The third release from Buenos Aires band that fuses traditional South American folk sounds, the Argentine chacarera in particular with unshakeable punk, metal and hip-hop. They have been under the wing of producer Gustavo Santaolalla (Surco Records). Alternating vocalists Eduardo Schmidt and Pablo Romero camp it up behind the mic and the groups instruments include fiddle, harmonica, flute and charango (a mandolin-like instrument) to create a rich, hand-clapping, roots base. Tthen stacks of heavy guitar riffs and monster-stomping drums over these serene elements create a massive momentum of garganturan rock grooves.
