Englands North East Scratch Master DJ Viper aka Scott Baker is known today for his Underground Freeform and Gabber sounds! Starting his Journey through the Hardcore scene back in 2005, Vipers status was pushed through the Up and Coming scene when his mixes on choons.net were classed as some of the best Underground Hardcore put together in great mixing fashion! He soon set out putting his mixing and scratching talent into events around the North Yorkshire scene. The Geordie lad soon become a wanted DJ on everyones flyer around the norths Hardcore scene!
Viper was then spotted by a group of young Promoters wanting to push the Hardcore sounds around the South Coast's already popular music scene even more with a brand new look on Hardcore, mixing together flyers that support the very best in our scene to the newest, freshest inspiring DJ's. Thus in 2009 Hardcore Revelation was formed and Viper was the Resident DJ, giving the South Coast a set to remember at every Hardcore Revelation event he played at!
With the support of the Nu Energy Collective, Viper started putting together mixes and live sets consisting of forthcoming material from such big underground labels as Nu Energy, Relentless, Revelation Digital and much much more. Together with his very own productions, Vipers sets were ever gaining in popularity.
Hardcore Revelation's very own DJ Viper prides himself on being a North East DJ, showcasing his talent to the South Coast to help spread the Hardcore scene further North increasing ravers of what is surely becoming a form of music everyone is familiar with!
Last year DJ Viper was snapped up by the the award winning 'Best Magazine' - Ravin Eye - in which he gave a detailed interview on how his DJ career started, and his journey through the up and coming scene. This can be read in Ravin Eye's issue #37!
Since, Viper has continued to work on his own Productions to keep his sets and mixes fresh, Along side one of the best Producers in Dance music today, Barry Distan. 2011 is set to be a big year for the young North East DJ, With tracks on various labels across the Hardcore scene, and working closely with Hardcore Revelation to provide the ravers with not just a set but an event to remember each and every time!
