I was at work yesterday, and I overhear my boss (she's pretty much a milf, very pretty) mentioning to her client that she wants to get her navel pierced. Immediately I shout out, "I want that too!" Then she asked me if I wanted to go with her. I was like, "Sure!" Thinking that we're going to do it another night, she calls this tattoo/piercing parlor asking if they had any openings for two navel piercings. Of course they did; businesses are slow now-a-days. So she askes if I want to get it done after work. Implusively, I said yes. =)

5:30pm rolls around, and my boss was like, "Vana, lets just go do it now! I'm calling them."
I thought, 'Why not? Get to leave work for a little while." =P
Haha. My boss is so funny.

So we leave work, letting the co-workers watch the shop (I work at a nail salon), and head to the tattoo shop. I felt like the ride there was taking forever. I think I felt so because I was a bit nervous. Last time I got anything pierced was when I was really really young...when I got my ears pierced. At 18, I got a tattoo below my hipbone. Now, that kinda hurt...especially the outlining.
Finally got there, and my boss tells me, "I'm glad we're doing this now or else I would have backed out later." It was her fourth time getting her navel pierced. Her hole kept closing up and the last guy who did it, did it crooked. The people at the shop we were at were very professional and knew their stuff.

After signing papers and buying our sterlizing stuff, I was up first. The guy marked my navel with a marker, then had to wipe it off because it was off to him. My tummy giggled a little when he rubbed the marker off! I looked at my boss and we both laughed.
"I'm in the process of getting rid of that!" I said. LOL.
He remarked it and had me check the mirror a couple of times to make sure I felt that it looked right. I really appreciated that. Then I layed down and waited. I was now really nervous. Haha. He clamped the area with a small clamp, and stuck the needle through with no warning. It happened so fast. The pain wasn't bad at all either. Tattoos definitely hurts more. Shoo...brazilian waxes hurt more. LOL! I was pretty much nervous for nothing. =P

So I'm going to wait until it heals to get a prettier ring. Actually, I want to get a bar instead. I feel like a ring is more likely to get caught on something! Hehe..

I don't think I would get another piercing. Three is enough for me. Tattoos though, I do want another one. I want to get a tremble clef with the words "J'aime la musique" in a pretty script flowing along it. Not sure exactly where. I was thinking mid-back to the right or on my side on the ribcage. I don't want a tramp stamp, no offense if ya have one. Any suggestions on where? I'll have to draw it out. =)
