About Me
Describe your personality and character:
My personality would be best described as exuberant. I have high levels of energy, extraversion and humor. Will quickly assume a leadership positions and excel in arts of many varieties. A more profound interpretation would suggest that I am self confident as an individual and l believe in my self and in the abilities of others. I prefer the company of one or more people to being alone. When making decisions, I’m happy to seek out others' opinions and to follow their advice. I strive to promote harmony, tend to be polite, and agreeable.(I bite my tongue).
How would you describe your childhood?
My childhood was a complicated one. Most would have wished for a simpler life, but I understand that without the bad there is no appreciation for the good. I have also learned from others past mistakes.
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
When I was little, I always followed my older brother around. I was like his shadow. Around the age of six I wanted to have the training wheels taken off my bike so I could ride around like him. He took them off for me and told me I needed to keep speed to stay off the ground. Now, my brother is five years older than me and was more experienced with riding a bike. So much so, that he could ride with no hands or lean back with his feet on the bars. As I rode around dragging my feet, I saw he was doing his tricks and naturally I wanted to do it too. Being seven and not thinking before I acted. I let go of the handle bars and yelled “Look! Nick! Look! I can do it too!” and with that, I crashed over the neighbors white fence and head first strait into a tree. Although I was in pain, I think I hurt my ego more than anything else.
Who has been the most influential person in your life?
My father raised me with great morals and respect. Even in hard times he fulfilled his obligations before his pleasures in life.
What awards/accomplishments are you and your family most proud of?
I've received most bids for my artwork in the college art show. My step mother decided to keep the painting and it still hangs in the family room.
Describe some of your hobbies and interests:
I enjoy Drawing, Sewing, Cooking, and various outdoor activities.
What sports or activities have you excelled in?
As a child I took a lot of swimming courses and tennis. I was even asked to join the swim team but I declined the offer. Now a day's its' mostly paint ball with my friends. There’s nothing quite like running around, and shooting your friends with pink paint.
Describe any artistic/musical talents you have:
I've been told by many people throughout my life that I have an eye for the art's. Music wise, I can play the piano and I tried to learn the clarinet but I didn't commit myself to it. I've been drawing since I was 5 years old. In middle school I took art for 2 years and excelled in most projects. In high school I advanced what I knew and took on new forms of art, including, oil painting, water paint charcoal use, Dry / Oil pastels and much more. My Art teacher in High school would give me tasks that where more challenging than the other students.
What are your future goals?
I hope to finish college soon so I can start a career. I would love to get my bachelors degree in art, and gain a career in animation or game design.
