My career is being a Writer/Singing Student/Composer. My main interests are: Penpals/Internet Fanatic/Dancing/Coffee/Movies. I spend my time: Developing my songs, marketing, exercise, going to cafes with freinds, MySpace, my kitty, my family, setting up my mothers' retirement to make sure that she is happy, analyzing the news trying to figure out how to spread peace, trying to figure out what I want out of life besides a career, studying, organizing papers, food, God, health, blogging, learning about other cultures and places, last.fm, and creating things. I like to collect Hello Kitty, decorative boxes of many different kinds, lighters, letters, profiles :), make up, dolls, jewelery, books, make up cases, dishes, goblets, and crystal glasses. In college I have studied singing, dance, P.E., drama, philosophy, fine arts, and sustainable community. I have read books on new age, religions, philosophy, psychology, meditation, Jack Karouac, and Doestoevsky. I'd like to read Hegal, Voltaire, and A Tale Of Two Cities. I like to play "Sorority Life." This is not my main profile. I have designed it just for me to enjoy. You are welcome to join me if you like.
I'm nearing the end of my studies needed to become a professional singer. I have composed about 150 songs and one opera. They are unfinished songs, ideas which need to be completed. I also have written a poetry book, which only needs editing. My second book, a non fiction, semi autobiography, is still in the works. I look forward to finishing these projects.
Personally, my character is complex, yet simple. I have been told numerous times that I am sweet, and strong. I love to learn new things. I like punk, mod, classic looks, sophisticated, artistic, and cultured. I have a knack for being able to pick anything up and do it after learning it for a while. I only discovered this over the last few years. So I have been having fun with it. I am eclectic, and like a lot of time to myself. Yet I love to be around my friends and family. I am incredibly shy, to the point of eccentric, frequently. Yet other times, I can simply decide to be outgoing, and you'd never believe that I am shy. It is like a switch that I can turn off and on, depending on which way I feel like being at the time.
I believe in honesty, right intent, love, goodness, harming none, standing up for myself if necessary, and fighting for what I believe in. People who focus on material things, and forget the inner soul, are not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong. I love material things. I want to travel. I want one of the largest closests in history, some day. But these things have been waiting, on a shelf, until the things that matter most come first. When I have accomplished what I think God wants of me, then I can do a few things just for me.
It is about leaving something for the world, that only you can do. It is about giving back something, that no one else could do in the exact way that you do. Each person has this, whatever it may be. I beleive in developing one's talents. I believe in choosing something that is greater then you, that you'd like to accomplish and give back to the world. It is something that is probably the best that you could do with your talents and skills, and yet the best thing for all in service of God for mankind, that together, comes up as a special dish in life that is yours to give and yours to do.
Giving, service, these are key words to me and how I live my life. It might not seem that way from the outside looking in. Because they don't know yet what I am working on building. I do not know if I will succeed. But I believe that it is highly possible to, because it is about giving the best that I can. There are so many things that I could do, that I may never do. Because I have chosen the ones to work on, that I think best utilize my specific abilities, and what most importantly, that I can give. I think it is what God wants me to do.
Some people's mission may be simple, others complex, they are all unique to the individual. One of the questions to start with, is what can I give?
